Don, I really wanted to use this module with my A-33 controller, but not showing lyrics or chords from the internal screen..is a bummer...
My question...Can you try using that 7 inch tv/monitor you own, and let me know how that works...Try some Tune 1000 sequences and see how the lyrics and extracted chords read..
Like you, it may be too many pieces to make it worth while, but still worth a try...maybe
Fran, I don't have any midifiles with lyrics, but if you send me one, I'll be happy to try it out for you. I have a 7" monitor. BTW, as your best friend, send me some damn Roland styles that sound good for this BK7m. I don't get it. I seem to remember the G1000 styles (that's the last Roland arranger I've owned) as being excellent at the time. Is it just my bad memory or have my tastes changed that much over time?

Fran, I have my BK7M plugged into a small TV/Video combination unit and the Tune 1000 lyrics show up great and when I turn the Chord function "on" the chords show up at the bottom of the screen You might have to change the type of video from PAL to NTSC The word you sing will be in Red and the current chord being played will be in Yellow. I have hundreds of the G1000 styles and they all play great.

Thanks George....BTW: do the chords show a measure ahead also, like the G70/E80...it makes reacting to chord changes easier
Fran, got your email. Thanks a million. Looks like George beat me to it but I'll set it up anyway out of curiosty to see how it works. I'm going out to gas up a couple of my bikes for a ride tomorrow, but I'll try some of those styles when I get back. Maybe I'll see if I can get a pic of the (lyric) screen once I get it set up. Thanks again.

When the song plays and the chords are showing it is highlighting the chord playing and will show the next chord to be played to the right of the currently highlighted chord. Is this what you mean?

Glad your reordering the BK7M. I hope I can get together with you sometime and get a rundown on it. Your expertise with Roland programming could save me lots of time. See you at the "shore"
