I just had my first voice lesson today and I'm really excited!
My teacher really knows her stuff and has worked with some top pros.

The really cool thing is once she found out that I'm a Spanish teacher she sugested that I teach her Spanish and she'll give me my voice lessons free.

Now I'm thinking I'll get with a piano teacher too. I'm really and in the mood to grow! It's never too late- right?

Montunoman: Congratulations on your exciting new adventure.
And no, it's never too late, unless you're no longer alive.
I especially like the barter & exchange deal you guys made. There's something special about exchanging goods/services without money changing hands. cool
Keep us posted. - Scott smile

I think you'll do just fine. I took voice lessons about 12 years ago. It was one of the best decisions I could have made.

Good Luck,

Me and the other guy in the band took vocal lessons at night school after realising that we couldn't explain why some nights we were vocally terrible (although lack of talent might be the explanation).

Seriously, well done, you'll find it really helpful. I'd recommend vocal training to everyone. Our teacher was an operatic tenor so some of the techniques were not really appropriate for "pop" covers, but we learnt so much about posture, breath control, how to control the brightness of your sound by the shape and configuration of the face. You'll find you don't get vocally fatigued as much as well.

Enjoy.
