The photo is a fake. The reporting of Bin Laden's death, is not. No fairytale...They had his sister's brain tissues from when she died from cancer in Boston a few years ago in storage for exactly this type of event. They matched his DNA with hers...it was a full match, therefore the confirmation President Obama wanted that they be able to provide proof they'd got him.

What is a big deal is that 09/11/01 was a huge event in all of our lifetimes. I was working for Guitar Center at this time. I saw the 1st plane hit... went to work and many co-workers and I saw the 2nd plane hit. When the towers fell, all the GC stores in NJ & NY started to close one at a time. We closed and my wife and I met at the elementary school where my kids were.

My son and I would wait for the bus on the corner near my house and I would point out all the planes flying into BWI airport. For many many days after 09/11, it was strange to not see any planes in the sky while waiting for the bus.

I truely thought more then 10,000 people would have died that day.

I mention this event in one of my songs called "spirit of" ..

First of all they killed him days ago...plenty of time for a DNA test.
Second: They got him... Period, end of story.
Third: To the USA, no one was worse than Bin Laden.

And while I don't encourage OT threads this is an extraordinary exception that we have all waited a decade for. Bin Laden was not just responsible for taking 1,000s of US lives but also many 1,000s of Muslim lives as well. The world is truly a much better place now he has gone.

Well he is dead one way or another it would appear, whether it was recently of several years ago. I for one am glad, however I don't think we should glamourise his name any further by talking about him. I also believe that no matter how evil we believe a person is, we shouldn't celebrate their death with triumphalism. The world is a better place, though it remains to be seen if there is any less danger for people who want to live in peace.
