Woah .... didn't expect to see that old thing here. The camera picked up almost no drums .... it sounded much better live...

Nicely done David. Although you're much more anchored to the keys than "He-Who-Uses-No-Pedals" (Donny) you still manage to look lively and "into it".

What instrument were you playing in that clip?

Wow - I can't remember what kb I used or even WHEN that party was! If I had to guess, it might be the psr3000, but I'm not sure. As for pedals - I use 2 always and they are both side by side at my right foot. Sustain and vocal harmony ... I have to balance on left leg alot, but I haven't started leaning when I walk yet! LOL
Since playing with the Nord, I may go back to my original pedal setup which was 2 switches and an expression. The organ is so much better with it.
So, that would have (from left to right) sustain, vocals, volume. They all sort of rest up against the bottom right leg of my kb stand and never stray. Heck, I'm standing on the sustain almost all night - they never have a chance to move!
wink

John (Sweentech1), man that is TOO funny! grin
This is actually Mike Diva's 2nd YouTube Channel.
If you like this kinda stuff,
checkout Mike's videos on his other video channel too:HERE

Some of the scenes look familiar. Anybody know what city/locale (in Canada: Vancouver or Toronto perhaps?) the video was shot?

Yeah, I saw that - pretty neat for sure! This guy had a fun time shooting that video and I think most of his audiences enjoyed the prank too. Got a lot of mileage out of that phrase for sure! smile

This is the first time I looked at one of your videos, Dave. Very nice voice. I agree, bad recording. It only does credit to your singing.

Thanx, it was a surprise to me - I never even knew the girl was filming. I'm sure today's cameras are WAY better. It's a nice marketing tool anyway.

Dave-Do you happen to like Kenny Rankin? Your voice reminds me of his a bit.

Please take that as a compliment...

Nice stuff...

Bill-Dave: Kenny is my all-time favorite pop vocalist, although some can argue that he is hard to categorize. Was a sad day when he died last year. Sounded as good at 70 as he did years ago.

That's a BIG compliment on Bill's part!

DAVE: Pretty good for an honorary Kentucky Redneck! You're in the "vocal stylist" category, and very good at it.

I played it at the local Salvation Army, and the welfare mammas were lined up to pay $5.00 each for your number.

Seriously, you "got the chops"!

Be well,

Russ
