i don't think it's as simple as a regular computer emmory RAM update

The new 4.2a support RAM expansion.....
I think in Audya 4&5 will have 256 RAM....
In Audya 76 128 RAM....
However I am not absolutely sure about this...

You will be able to upgrade AUDYA 4 and 5's memory regardless of if you have the AJAMSONIC upgrade/package or not, so no, you do not need to have the AJAM upgrade before you get the RAM expansion, but it will help to have it.

It will be available on one of the AJAM options so in that case, you won't need to purchase another memory expansion card again.

Sokratis is on the right path with regards to the upgrade mentioned above - however the memory package compatibility for each unit will depend on it's seial number.

Robbo,

You've always had my attention smile

The demos aren't being done only by me but a team and it's only right we wait for all to be completed before posting. I could easily position a camera and put a 5-10mins snippet on Youtube but ...it's got to be right. You know what happens when a manufacturer 'rushes' demos or worst still - a product that is not complete to customers, right?

Shade of pale - I was told it's on its way.

Thanks

AJ

Well, finally it looks like Ketron, or some from the Ketron staff learned the lesson. wink

Audya came out to early and I'm sure happy i did not rush into it, other than I regret I sold SD1 way too soon.
Now there is so much new and interesting stuff on the way, PA3X Pro, Wersi P Wing, T4... well T4 not that new, but even if it's not that much above the T3, it's still the best Arranger kb from Yamaha so far.

Better hurry up Ketron, if you still want me to buy your product(s) .........

Hi Aj,

I have the Audya 76.
Can you tell me more on what is the MAX RAM that we can put on it?
Also, can you tell me the serial number after what we can do something different with RAM?

I really need more RAM, and I hope my Audya 76 has good serial number smile

Sorry AJ a little tongue in cheek there. It does seem that the process is taking longer than we would have hoped, but on your advice i'll be patient, knowing that i have one of the best boards around.

thanks mate

Hi,

I doubt, that there is a possibility to update RAM by your own.

I found no slot for additional RAM after opening my Audya5 ( i bought it in Nov/2010 ).

Maybe above "U2" and "U5" but that would require an adapter from Ketron
