Leibniz, have you heard the SMF comparison that DNJ posted last week?

Yep, it was nice to hear the differences. The Korg didn't sound so good there, although the style wasn't my typical one anyway. It would be great to hear some casual rock\ballade\unplugged comparisons. Currently I'm inclined towards the Audya, but the lower price makes the PA3 somewhat of an interesting alternative. I like the Tyros sounds and styles but wouldn't be able to go for the 61 keys.

I'd think the Audya would be awesome for rock, blues, unplugged...but I have say I have hardly any experience with Korg. Maybe someone would be kind enough to record some of the styles that your interested in.

Why not go to a store for a comparison. The real sound of the PA3x is much better then the online videos. There are so many things that can influence the sound of the PA3X that you have to try one for real not by listening these videos.

This is true, the PA3x has MaXx plugin which can manipulate the overall sound, from basic settings of "Bass" High" Stereo" to the point of an multi-band EQ with adjustable Q settings with completely frequency selections.

Also, then a PA3x plays a midi file, the default is to choose GM/GS sounds. You can further enhance a midi file by selecting the better patches and save them with the midi file.

I will post some Pop style examples in a few

In my part of the world no stores carry TOTL arrangers so internet videos are the only way to get an idea of what these instruments sound like and what they can do.
