Here's one of those embarrassing moments..... A video of Christine my now wife, and I when we were kids, not even dating let alone husband and wife. You have to bear in mind that back in those days all you would hear in an Irish Pub was ballad music, so while all this sounds so freaking dated and painful now, at the time it was ahead of its time.

I must be only 17 in this video. ..lol...

WOW! You really slammed those keys back then. I love your wife's singing, she has a great range. The only question I have is "How old are you now?"

Cheers,

Gary cool

James, how COOL! I have old film of me a little younger at an officers club gig in Fairbanks, alaska...embarrassing, except for when you put it in context.

The song was dated, of course, but your left hand was "happenin"!
And your lady sounded fine (like to hear you guys now).

Thanks a lot for sharing it. Certainly nothing to be embarrassed about, and something you can share for years.

Doony,

What the hell is that in the bottom right of the photo!!!
Hope it's not what i think it is.
I feel totally inadaquate!
No use trying to crop it and repost it I've got a copy for the album
BTW how do you know what the song was "WILL STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW" you must have a hell of a good
memory, it could have been any song from that night, its years back.

Tony

Well, this song was famous in 1990, so James is about 38 years old, maybe less if the video was recorded some years after 1990.

Ok, here is a joke video made by a friend, in my house... the song after 1:17 is more recognizable than the Greek ones... My wife is the shorter of the two girls later in the video. (about 2:00 onwards)

Trident on G70, "Careless Whisper" snippet

Donny,

I either need to change my hearing aid batteries, change my medication or a new pair of headphones, it just sounded like you descibe it Donny. As for the G70 well the Jury was out on this one a while back, but they have deliberated and it's not guilty, that's not guilty of doing anything, least of all sounded good! I can say that for fear of contraception!!! Maybe Dave can run this through Google translate. Donny some of us have moved on with KBs and bought into the latest technology, that's what we all do. Hells these posts are ending up in Never Never Land what’s going on, we have photos posted now that where made on glass plates.

SZ original concept.

Man buys KB
Man Plays KB
Man say KB is good
Man tells everyone on SZ KB is good
Or just the opposite
Man has problems with KB
Mewn don't buy KB from what man above said
Now Old Men Play KB in Old Folks Home
Old Folks Homes Close down
All old folks now in Travel Lodge
SZers talking in code
Jeeeez

I either need to change my hearing aid batteries, change my medication or a new pair of headphones, it just sounded like a bad hangover to me Donny. Bad hangover, bwahahahah

Tony, if you look carefully in the video you'll see a large glass of scotch on my desk, just above the G70... and no, your hearing aid does not need new batteries! Never claimed that I could play, nor thet my wife could sing!

Sorry I edit that out just as you were replying, I know you would not consider it has Worlds class. When we have Telmo and a few other trying to show us what new tech is available and if we practice for a billion years how we can sound, this is what we want. If I want to hear the G70 which I did have one use it as a door stopper I would go to YOUTUBE there are 100s of clips. Trident I do like the video twirling, thats the best bit. Trident on a more serious note I do hope your country gets itself sort out it is very concerning what we see on TV.

Reagards

Tony

PS I think I sound better on KB with Whiskey

Change it back, to its original "bad hangover" glory.... We need some reality in SZ sometimes, and if you knew Greek, you could hear my friend in the video saying "you f@&^cked it up here".

As for our financial mess, it won't be easy. Indifferent, freeloader citizens and incompetent, corrupt governments do not mix well.

Read this article: Beware of Greeks bearing bonds

There are some embellishments for the readers here and there but generally it is close to reality.

Ha Ha...I think it's a guitar Tony, although it looks big enough to be mistaken for a cello.

I loved that video. It just looked like good friends having a good time. The type of thing good memories are made of. I don't think Trident was trying to make a musical statement here.

Tony,

I am having a make over next week, Botox and all that, some hair added so I can look a bit like Donny, having said that he may have run out of photos, he is putting up any old stuff now, did I just say that.

Cheers Tone
