Donny,

Don’t you think this was a wasted opportunity, give KB to Joe public and he could do a better job, I remember the Audya coming out and released in Portugal , about 20 people played it in front of a camera all different style of players, that is why I bought it. Doubt Korg doing anything like that.

Korg don't have to. The PA3x sells itself.

The audio demo's sounds fantastic and yes it is really how the PA3x sounds. No tricks.

I wasn't impressed with the drums at all..but many of the styles and sounds I thought were pretty good & very usable...the Korg Pa3x has allot going for it & I would say now that with some decent demos that have been shown it definitely sits in a solid second position just under the Tyros 4 & just above the Audya. Once I find one and get a chance to actually play it my opinion may change, but until then I 'm glad to see there are three choices out there for the arranger player in a new TOTL unit.

Donny,
What I can tell you is you would be impressed with the drums live.
Even my PA2 drums were super. Very realistic and every TYPE is adj via volume and EQ.

My bigest concern still is the music I play and whether the T4 would not be a better choice.

The demos are not so good as always..
AND over time you will still NOT see many youtube songs played that are not Mid-Eastern.

Tells me most folks that like what I like DO NOT buy the PA series at all.

So leeboy you have your two choices.....I say for what you describe as your type of music......The Tyros 4 is your BEST choice. Plus you can create so many other things musically with the T4 once you dig into it deep.

Ps:..I also intend to try the PA3x asap also....

The drum sounds are the best there is. You have to hear them live. For me and the kind of music I play and like the Korg is Nr 1. Tyros4 can't handle modern music in my opinion. But for the kind of music Telmo plays yes the Tyros is Nr 1 so it all depends on what kind of music you like to play. This is only my opinion.

FransN,
I think you are right on.

I really liked my PA2...it just didn't inspire me, and I think that is because it is better for the younger more modern crowd.

Frank Sinatra music is better on the yamaha????

Is that a question Leeboy? I personally love the music of Frank Sinatra and it is very playable on the PA3X.
