I wonder what as happened to the Wersi Wing I mean really not a con job, also can anyone throw light on this, when it hits the market it will be £2500., the Audya is £4300, what does this mean is it not going to be as good as the Audya at £2500 it is nearly £1000 below the T4, were is it going to fit into the market. If at all. Anyone any ideas, people I talk to won't go anywere near one, I have always loved the sound of the Wersi but would it be risky to even think of buying one. I understand they are been made in China is this good thing or not, anyone got any ideas or do you think it's a joke.
It does look bloddy good on the leaflet, but that won't keep it alive and well and what kind of market share will it have.

Tony

Hi Tony

What are you going on about, all the Wings that were pre-ordered have been delivered and being enjoyed by their owners, all dealers have them in stock or have a short delivery time, and another shipment is due from the Far East.

Just go onto the various Wersi sites for more details, also Nigel has kindly set up a Wersi Forum on SZ.

Bill

BTW there are also some more sound packs on the way for it. (Their currently in Beta testing)

It seems a real cheap Wersi, but it isnt .
If you want to edit style's & voices you must buy a lot of expensive software.

Hi Impuls

None of those options relate to the Wing, they are for OAS 7 instruments and have been added over time to allow users of earlier instruments to upgrade to the latest features. (All manufactures do the same, however unlike the Wersi OAS instruments you have to buy a brand new keyboard to get them)

BTW Most of the options are standard on New OAS 7 instruments. (Excluding sound packs of course)

Hope this clears up the misunderstanding.

Bill,

Thanks, I take it that the wing comes with the dogs dangley bits, right out the box, after you have made a video of the unboxing and
played with the box for a day or two and then start to play. So no more to pay and the samples and styles you require are all in there.

Tony

To my understanding many of those options will not be available at the Wing at all....

If i understand correctly, the Wing will have a very limited version of OAS compared to the normall Wersi instruments...

Tough this might have changed over time....

Hi Tony,

Please go to the Nigel's Wersi Site where you can see informed comments on the Wersi Pegasus Wing.

Very interesting!

Audrey,

I missed the post because so many had been opened on the WW, how are you going on with yours, is there no WOW factor, is it better that T4 ? I thought it was going to be mind blowing obviously not at all.
