Exciting. No definitive details yet, except one poster who predicts (or is it inside information) that this will be a fairly minor update. We will see.
15 days to go. Seems like its gona be a mild Upgrade. I really hope they give us vh2 , Half of the choir sounds, more s art sounds, More sweet, cool, live sounds, more multipads, 350 styles, 5 live drum kits. I suspect the Panel layout will be identical to s910.
Hi Ebrahim, Regarding your PSRS910, We dont provide any preliminary product information until introduced at the NAMM shows. Best regards, Yamaha PAC Support 714.522.9000
I am somehow expecting a new top-line workstation, with many synth engines and Arpegiator and Karma build in... and build in Cubase and VST support.. And the high quallity SA sounds from the T4...
To be placed on top of the Motif line (and not replcing it) as the new Synth workstation top-line....
Next to i think that both Yamaha PSR top-contenders might be named Tyros S950 and Tyros S750.... Allowing room for a new type of arranger not named Tyros Somewhere next year...

Correct me if I'm wrong, We already knew about, and could purchase the T-4 in Sept 2010, before it was showcased at Winter NAMM 2011 We did not know about, and could not purchase the S-910 until Sept. 2009, after it was introduced at Summer NAMM 2009.
Therefore Music Insiders may miss out if they do not attend a Summer NAMM...'ya never know
Remember all the "puzzle pieces " leading up to the announcement and then the whole "Tyros3.com" website was finished and had samples and demos to listen to.
It wasn`t until Oct. 6th , that I received my T-3 from "Frank".
The T-3 web site is still up , not the same as it was in `08 , but still there: > link:

Ian I know you're just as excited as I am. What I'm hearing on that forum is that pricing Will be comparable to s910. VH2 seems likely. A scattering of choir voices and choir type styles, More s art voices, but no aftertouch, sampling or Voice expansion. It may have a new feature not found On tyros 4. Interestingly I phoned yamaha south africa Yesterday and they told me the s910 is on order till December....but then again we always get new boards after 6 months. I personally think yamaha will release a new Keyboard mainly because the tyros 4 came out in 2010 instead Of 2011 (a year quicker). The s910 is also very similar to s900 so they will want something new by now . 8 days to go. Let's wait and see what happens

I'll be real curious to see if Yamaha is releasing a new model. My good friend who works for Yamaha as a District Manager says Yamaha is being really tight lipped regarding any new products. He hasn't heard of any new products as of now.

I wish Roland would get back in the Game, although not a die-hard Roland Fan, they really made some great boards through the years, also there would be more competition and more selections to choose which in turn would lower prices, everything is relative.

Roland desperately needs a new arranger , I can not agree more.
Korg is also in need of a new A-KB ____IMO
If Yamaha does come out with a new PSR TOTL , I hope they don`t muck it up. It would be very good to have a front mounted USB port , and of course a better key bed. FSX key bed and plastic buttons , one can only hope { dream } !
