Does the new sound and style update contain the previous package sound and style contents? Or should I purchase the first one and then the second one to have both package content in my audya?

OK, I understand, it is not really clear. Today I got my new pen drive 2011 - it is currently installing. When I look to the German translation, the same sentence as written in English, but additionally in brackets - now translated
"(i.e. the sound upgrade via USB stick must be installed - available since 2010)"
how do we know FOR SURE, that our AUDYA's 4/5 are ready for this new pen update? (as it seems we can have 4.1b without latest sounds, etc...
what particular file/sound/style can we look for that would CONFIRM we have what's necessary for this 2011 pen? anyone? AJ?
i think PEN should look for all prerequisites BEFORE installing anything, as Windows and many programs do and give a message like "sorry, you need to have xxxx installed PRIOR to this installation.
or other way would be for this to be self-contained, have old and new pen updates already....

Leezone,
I think it is only concerning the Audya with 76 Keys. That is what is mentioned on the header of that note.

i have an AUDYA4 with 4.1b, but not sure if the older pen (which i think is required) is there.
thanks
I guess yes. Maybe it is a help if you go to the Ketron Italy homepage and look to the technical table of the 2010 Pen upgrade. So if you e.g. have styles like BRASSY_FOX, ROMANTIC_FOX or SMOOTH_FOX in the swing section or if you have this VCE sounds (the Sax where you can here the breathing etc.) then you have this upgrade already from factory as this voices and styles were not part of earlier versions.

Robbo,
just saw that you are from Ballarat. Nice place to be. Was at least 3 times there when my mother lived in the area of Melbourne. But now they have moved up to the Gold Coast and so the chance is only little to visit Ballarat again.

Hi Joe0710, mmmm the gold coast much warmer than here at the moment I can tell you. The Sumnmer here if we get one this year, will be great and autumn here is always beautiful. I still like the warmer climates though.
Good talkin to you, I wish that Pen Drive for the Audya would turn up here in Aussie Land?
Just installed the new Pen Drive on my Audya 76 - I already had OS 4.2b loaded so the procedure was completely automatic and trouble-free. Good new styles - will take a little time to hear all the changes but very good so far. Still hankering after loads more styles though - the Audya must have such potential for a huge style library?? Hardly dare mention AJAM since AJ seems to have gone to ground????? Carl

That's a good point. I have three TOTL arrangers including Audya76. It is refreshing to play the same song on another keyboard, say nothing of trying totally different styles.
