Here are two nice renditions of the song 'Apache' performed on two distinctly different yet both impressive sounding Keyboards. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a Korg PA3X rendition of this song available to make it a 3-way comparison.
Apache Performed by Solitaire on a Yamaha Tyros 4:
Apache & Riders in the Sky Performed by J. Hakopuro on a Ketron Audya:
You know I have both, closed my eyes lay back and to me the T4 sound more like the Shadows a real more metalic sound, both very good. The T4 does have some outstanding samples that the Audya does not have perhaps this is money for investment and attention to detail.

Don't know who did the voice-over, have you any ideas, he's not from the UK.

Both leave a lot to be desired compared to this one

Both recordings deserve due merit. It certainly highlighted the
clear excellent CD quality of the Tyros which has its own unique sound and appeal.
Having listen to original track ? which was posted by Bill, the Audya raw vibrant sound came closer to the original which again makes it an unique, versatile instrument in its own right.
Both were very good enjoyable examples of the merits of theses two instruments.
For my part with Aid assisted hearing the Tyros sound gave me the most pleasure and clarity.
Thanks for posting Scott, a nice equal comparison.
I have to agree the T4 takes the cake, the Audya has some awesome sounds, but the styles on the T4 are probably the best there is, they a full on. I will one day sit the two on the same stand, through the same mixer and speakers and see what they are like.
It's all about what your ears perceive, connected to a morsel of brain.
Thanks Gilbert Tony

While they were both very good, the Tyros style used was much closer to the Ventures/Shadows versions of the song. I thought the guy playing the Audya added a neat touch with the addition of Ghost Riders In The Sky.

I like them both. That Tyros guitar is amazing. The second keyboard on the rack, that sound is decaying too quickly, it would be much better with more decay time. In this comparison, Tyros wins for me. And I love my Audya.
When did you buy you Audya, I got mine when they first came on the market.

Both are pleasure to listen.Yamy is near to original but adya swayd it away with its drum kit.Overal, adya has wel knit pattern which gave the Appache a rich flavour.
