This is for the R12 with inflatable tires all the way around.

Keep in mind, unless they changed it, this cart does NOT have a BRAKE on the Tires. If you load on inclines or hilly venues, stay away from this as the cart will roll all over the place and you'll see your equipment go for an unexpected ride down the hill! lol

Even in Florida, there are hilly areas at loading docks, or walking down to the beach areas so I feel the BRAKE is VERY important for a CART. Otherwise this is a great price. Perhaps some clever member can retrofit a brake for this unit.

I have used my RnR cart for 2 years now on all kinds of terrain and have yet to have it roll away from me - although it would if you were not careful about where you put it when loading and unloading. I will certainly buy another one should mine ever break down.

Which RockNRoller Cart style tires are preferable: 'solid' or 'inflatable'?

I checked the RockNRoller website and it shows the R12RT but not the R12, so assume the R12 is now discontinued? The R12RT includes lightweight rear wheel brakes, and according to the R12 description at Musicians Friend, not included. I wonder if these rear wheel brakes could be purchased separately and installed on the R12? I'm also curious to learn what other new features/improvements are included in the R12RT but not included on the R12.

Thanks. - Scott cool

Tony, you do know that they have a new invention now called the "Wheel". They discovered fire last year.
