Did any one watch AGT ? Did you catch the final ?

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr won ( F.Sinatra Grooner ?) and I thought it was a pretty good top 4 finalist.

I thought that one of the dance act's like Silhouettes or Iluminate would win, but Landau (a solo act) got the most votes.

I always love seeing young kids making music. I love parents who give their kids and opportunity to play an instrument. So I loved Poplyfe.

Any thoughts ?

Was a little disappointed with the young group when, on a little more complicated song, the little guitar player was playing wrong chords, and, in a few cases, no chords. There was some sequencing, but, hey, I haven't seen a national act that didn't have some parts sequenced in years.

What I am interested in also, is all the phone revenue generated. At 99 cents, someone on these "vote in" shows (and they all do it) is making some major bucks!

I'll bet that damn Simon Cowell is behind it all (LOL)!

I was also disappointed with poplyfe as well. I guess they really didn't have a say on what song they performed, all they knew it had to be a stevie song.... The only time you see stevie is on tv, not in concert.

When was the last time stevie put out an album ?

I also was suspicious of def leppards singer vocals. I do not think they were live. Why Def Leppard any way ?

Pop Lyfe was fun all season. The queen cover was a travesty!!! But the sinatra guy??? My way stunk!! the either of I illuminate or sillouettes should have one.
