Very good - really enjoyed listening to that.
And, what a great style - such a pity that Yamaha don't do more song specific styles - that was one of the great strengths of Technics.

Here's a link to a completely different rendition of "House of the rising sun".
http://www.kn7000.net/downloads/Brian_Thompson/Brian_Thompson-The_House_of_the_Rising_Sun.mp3

This was originally recorded on a Technics KN2000 in 1993 and sounds were updated to KN7000 sounds afterwards.

Brian plays this so gently and builds it as he progresses and I feel that his style of playing and the sounds he uses give it quite a haunting atmosphere.
I love it.

Tony,

If you want a song-specific, Yamaha style for House Of The Rising Sun, just email me and I'll send it to you.

Thanks Gary, your offer is much appreciated, but I already have the style (60's Rising Pop) on my T4 - I was just making the point that I, (and probably many more) would like Yamaha to produce more song specific styles such as this, as Technote did for the Technics range of boards.

Dang, Tostie, that's good! Love the organs. What a great song! Did you know that is an old folk song? The Animals did not write it. Just make up some words along with chord progression and all is alright!

Joost, another outstanding rendtion & improvsition ya. clap
Sorry I couldn't voice chat with you on Skype very long earlier today, but now I know why you were so anxious for me to see it.
Definitely one of your very best.
I loved your fresh improvisational arrangement approach (starting off solo piano & adding auto accomp & other instrument voices later)
plus your uncanny ability to pull it off so well simply utilizing Yamaha's factory style & OTS settings. See ya on Skype soon. - Scott cool
