All it is, is a rebadged low end yamaha psr keyboard.

From the hardware layout to the sounds, this thing screams yamaha.

Very surprising that Yamaha would let their KB design be copied & altered like this.....Hmmmmmm?

Bill, is there a down-loadable user manual for the Orla KX10?

It says the instrument is based on same technology as the Orla GT-9000 organ.

It appears there is also an 88-note hammer action unit, called the "Stage Ensemble" with the same features as the KX10.

Ian

Later addition...I found a YouTube video of the Orla Stage Ensemble, and it appears to be played by one of our members, Tonewheeldude (unless it's someone else with the same name?). The recording quality isn't the best, but it does give rough idea of what the instrument looks and sounds like.

There is a manual for the stage ensemble plus brochures of all instruments http://orladirect.co.uk/

The comments about a copy of another product were mentioned on YouTube, and the answer came back that it was not a copy of anything, but was an Orla original based around the sound engine of their other keyboards/organs.

The KX10 has only two variations per style, and no On Bass mode in auto-accompaniment.

Not really a competitor, in my opinion.

The Korg has 4 variations/style plus it has On Bass.

It is a far more professional instrument.

How in the heck does this even begin to compare to the Micro Arranger?

1. Its features aren't anywhere close to what the MA is capable of.
2. There's NOTHING micro about this thing. It's a full size keyboard with the same footprint of previous PSR models.

This company must have some type of contract with Yamaha. Has anyone seen their massive Tyros add on?
