Though I can't make it this year, I've attended quite a few Winter Namm shows in Anaheim over the years, and they are always a lot of fun. The big thing I do notice though is most attendees 'pay little' or no interest in checking out arranger keyboards. Perfect example was at the Korg booth last year where the Pa3x was simply relegated to sit in a dark corner of the showroom. It'll be interesting to see how much Korg promotes it and the new micro-ARRANGER this year, but I suspect the attention will remain mostly (if not all) focused on the Kronos, but who knows. That said, I hope Yamaha will do the LIVE webcast shows like they did last year, of which included terrific live demos of Tyros 4 by Martin Harris and Peter Baartmans. I'm going to miss not having a chance to chat with them this year. Unfortunately, a series of technical glitches turned the Yamaha LIVE webcast into a disaster by the last day of NAMM last year. I trust this year will be better perhaps with a new technical vid crew. - Scott

I thought new CVP and PSR-S series, but probably not yet.

I agree Scott, those were some nice demos. The webcasts are also a great way to get glimps of the atmosphere. Here's the link to the Yamaha NAMM 2012 page where the live video feeds are announced.

Have fun,
