go for the PA800 at least. You're going back 3 generations with the PA1X.

No guitar mode styles. They sound better than a normal midi guitar track.
No import /export of complete style as a a midifile ( should you want to edit in a pc sequencer)
Better choice of user styles available ie you can always load a PA1x style into a PA800 , but not vice versa. Ok there's EMC, but it's not a perfect solution.

Can't remember at what stage you sold your PA800, but I'm reasonably sure it was before the dnc voices, most probably before they introduced exporting complete style as a midifile & before they fixed the pads to stop in the endings.

My 2 cents worth.

OK you're having fun with the MicroArranger, it's a good introduction to the Korg, but no way is the operating system as good as on the PA800 or especially the PA3X.
