You can allways get a custom stand from PAtrick Slaats overhere in Holland.

He is the guy that builds Jordan Rudes rotating stand.

Yes I have one, It's the best keyboard stand I have ever owned. The most important thing as opposed to the other stands out there is that it's 100% stable under 2 keyboard heavy weight and could add another quite easily. It's ease of use is fantastic, and the keys below your fingers feel good because of its structure. Highly recommend, you wont look back

What a trooper, LOL! He just keeps on singing. I wonder if the keyboard is even his, the way he just lets it drop to the floor. Looks like it might have had a bit of rough treatment before, though, with that G key missing or stuck down.

lets just say its a plastic threaded piece on the metal screw which is held by the plastic top cap
it baffles me that this stand is so heavy-duty except the mic attachment

Thanx Lee for the info.....Now I won't buy one sight unseen online BUT,...will have to actually take my screw to boom to the store and set it up and "test the Mic boom quality" before I buy one for sure.

oh and the laptop stand taht screws on top of this is wacky
when on stand, it totally covers your view of audience

i had it and had to return it,
it is heavy duty, but design is weird, as it does not collapse, etc...

i wanna build a custom laptop attachment for this somehow.

Frank, what's up, do you have parts for this stand,
i'm looking for that metal piece taht holds laptop stand to top of stand

since i returned my laptop stand i had to return this piece too,
but THIS piece is SOLID, which i could use to build a laptop attachment

Newark gets a bad rap cuz of the "other" side of town
in the Ironbound it's still pretty good,
and the Restaurants here are plentiful and amazing !!!

We still go down neck to Iberia, Fornos & Don Pepe....great Portuguese food always! We lived in the North Ward.

Iberia is fast food
It may be a Portuguese place, but no Portuguese go there, we know better :-)
that would be the last place i eat in Newark
there are way better places :-)

Fornos is good, Spanish, but overpriced IMO

Yes, it's deff playable in the seated position I do!, the way the feet are arranged gives you plenty of uncluttered space for pedals and so on, another problem I found with other stands

I have not found a problem with the boom. Just dont put anything too heavy as far as the boom is concerned. And in the seated position yes if you use the IPAD it will cover you view from the audience, a good way around this is to get the mic stand IPad holder and position it to a side, (if you are glued to the music maybe you need to be hidden, work an act that requires only a reference to music, ie lead sheets and plenty of practice), Of course if you are standing there should not be a problem with the IPad stand in front unless you have your keyboard or boards positioned too high.

I use a CLEAR Plexiglass cut shelf on the second tier for my laptop, mixer etc.....it leave just enough room to see thru it to the display on the Kb on the first tier...works great.
