Instead they should ALSO have for the 50-85 crowd too which are always forgotten...like Andrea Bocelli, Tony Bennett, Little Anthony, Skyliners, Duprees, Barbara Streisand, Jersey Boys cast, Wynton Marsalis, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews,......

IMO, based on past performances, this would have to be a beautiful rendition

Yea, I'm biased, I saw them live this past summer with my 13 year old granddaughter, we had a blast with this group.

I'm all for Carrie and Vince for an anthem.

Even though I'm over 50, I'd prefer someone other than Madonna...perhaps Nora Jones?

I think she is absolutely lovely, and sings like an angel.

The Super Bowl is a "High Energy" event! Snora Jones would just about put everyone to sleep during half-time!!! LOL She's no doubt a lovely singer, but not at a super bowl half time show. Someone like "prince" or "Greenday" or "John Mellancamp" or ?????? might be a more appropriate choice.

To me, Mellancamp would be great, be wow he's 60, seven years older than Madonna! Also a "Has Been"?

Agree about Nora, she would be nice for the Anthem, but too 'laid back' for halftime.

It's not that easy to find someone that could relate to all generations.
