Well, you have my vote, Donny.

I know several people that became very interested in the KMA because of your demos, but, unfortunately most were put off by the baby keys...however, the latter may look into a PA-50SD, especially if they can enhance it with John Smies allegedly excellent programs.

Demoing/clinician work is very personally rewarding (financially as well), but remember, you must know the instrument inside out because there will be questions.

But, I'm sure you could handle it.

The world is your oyster.

Ian

I have been performing with arrangers since the first ones made back in the early 80's & with keyboards & Synths since the early 60's...like the KORG's first Personal SAS 20 KORG SAS 20

..I have absorbed much info on the OS workings of many many units thru the years till now....many of my clients always come up on stage to ask questions which I gladly try to explain & help them understand the workings of an Arranger KB. Some play as well. My methods of learning aren't traditional but very effective. I love playing eery day and making people happy with my music ....its my chosen destiny in the world I guess & I'm glad to be able to fulfill my dream.

Tony maybe if you had bought the KMA rather than the Audya that you have bitched so much about you would be happier now.

Nigel,

Message received and understood, I must have thought, wrongly that the plethora of Smilies might have got me off the hook on this one, but obviously not so. blush

Many times I don't sell gear because I don't like it, or it's no good, but more so just not the right fit for MY NEEDS, more then sound , navagational FULL features is what I'm after as many already sound very good....I have an insatiable appetite to find the almost perfect arranger "all around" for my serious extreme gigging needs....Yamaha, Roland, Ketron, Varranger etc,.. at this time just don't have enough of these features to keep me interested too much to elaborate now....I'm leaning KORG more & more eg: Pa3x..making it sound good isn't my concern as I know that's the easy part.
let me also say the KMA is more then a winner in my book also. So if anyone is interested in a KMA at a good price you know where to get it...yes my SZ friends the saga continues...just play what you love and enjoy!!

I'll trade you something for it. Do you need a really huge expensive keyboard stand? Mics? Guitars? A night with my wife?
A Podium 8 speaker? Golf clubs?

I've got lots of mics, I sold my guitars, don't need a mic stand with a headset mic, can't hit a golf ball worth a damned and I never liked those Podium 8s. That's leaves a night with Susan, and if I recall she don't like boats, so that's out of the question too. wink I'll have to admit, though--she's sure a purty, Cajun gal. And, she's a lot smarter than you and I put together. Probably explains why she don't own or play an arranger keyboard.

All the best,

Gary cool
