The Korg micro-Arranger along with Pa80/60/50 model keyboards, don't store styles individually, but instead, store them 'grouped together' with other styles in one of 3 sets of USER Banks: USER01, USER02, USER03. Each USER bank can contain 16 styles, with all 3 banks: 48 user styles total . As a result, esp if you've got a lot of user styles/user banks, organizing & compiling your entire style library can quickly becomes challenging to organize and manage, esp if you need to access more than 48 styles at a sitting. Enter 'Pa REsource Manger" (free)It claims to be a powerful program for Korg Pa80, Pa60, and Pa50 keyboards, and I only assume now for the new Korg micro-Arranger too, to manage (organize) all your styles, rename them, group them in banks and create USER BANKS and loaded into the keyboard. I just finished installing the program (PaResource Mgr. version 2.41), but have to admit I'm confused about a few things with its operation. Some of the online FAQ documentation for it is unreadable(print garbled up). Does anyone here have experience using this software app for organizing and creating USER BANK Sets for the Korg microARRANGER or Pa80/60/50 keyboards? Feedback much appreciated. Scott

Scott, The micro arranger does store styles individually. all you do is go to the set that has styles, push open, select the style folder, push open, select user1,2 or 3, push open, select the style you wish to load, push load, it will now give you the choice to load it to any of the 48 locations, push load and you have loaded 1 style. You can do this for all 48 locations and then save as a new set and there you go!

I had just been trying the PRM program and it does work quite well once you sus it out. It took me quite a while to work out how to save a style bank. This is very reassuring. Thanks for all the terrific useful PRM tips , especially the part about the hidden data base file not mentioned in the PRM documentation. Thanks also for filling me about the SD card being 'drive D' as well. I was wondering about that. One of the most frustrating things for me with the micro-Arranger and PA80/60/50 OS is not being able to view the contents (style names) of their USER01, USER02, or USER03 files from my PC. For this reason, I will definitely download KSS (Korg sniffer). It will be great to finally (on the PC) actually see the individual styles contained in a given USER01, USER02, or USER03 file. Col, I hope you can get Skype up and running soon, as I 'm really looking forward to chatting with you there to exchange information & our experiences about our micro-Arranger. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Scott

Thanks Donny
I never thought of that as I use Universal XT for conversion only.
