Hi Don,
question for you, you mentioned on one of the other posts that Ketron Country Styles were really good.

Any particular favourites?

Are they more simple than the Korg or is it those Live Drums that really make them?

In Audya, it's both live drums and guitars. Plus there is a wide variety available.
A style called Kramer is a good example. It has been on all models since at least SD1, and there is an audio version on Audya.
I haven't found anything similar on Korg yet.
There are also some of the old-style country shuffles with walking bass on all or some variations. Nothing like this on Korg that I've found.

Hi Guys,
obviously both of you consider Kramer a really great style.
I actually still have it with my sd1 collection.
Must have a listen thru the varranger software & my sd2 setup.

The only style that springs to mind that I really missed was the ORCHSLOW style. I luved the intro'& endings on it, so I went to the trouble of converting it via .mid file rather than using emc,
mainly so I wouldn't lose All the tempo changes in the intro' & endings..
Even managed to put together a wav drumkit for the Live Drums track.

Probably sounds no where near as good as the original, but it's useable.

Ok might keep Krammer in mind for my next sd conversion.

Hi Donny,
that's a lovely song.
Might actually be one that i have amongst my music sheets.

I'm a bit of a Marty Robbins fan, I luv the song A White Sports Coat ( classed as Country??) just need to try & work out what style will work with it, something I'm not particularly good at,
haahaa.

I've never seen a Ketron in the flesh, so can anyone put up an mp3 on here of this 'Kramer' style please?

Thanks very much, Don. That's a nice easy rollin' country style - not to mention your use of it. Very easy on the ear.

Donny: Sure when and if you get the chance. It'd be interesting to hear it on the Yamaha. Thanks.
