FransN, there is no sequencer yet into vArranger.
While I can understand that it's cool to have an all in one software, I prefer to first add the features that CAN'T be found in other software.
What I suggest you to do when you want to create a recording : you select a style, you enter chords on the grid with the mouse or by midi learn, and you press EXPORT TO MIDIFILE.
Then you open the midifile in any sequencer, like cubase... and continue working on your song. (adding AUDIO/MIDI/VST tracks)
But who knows, maybe I will add a sequencer later, or a simple RECORD button.
DNJ, you can load any Ketron styles from old solton MS series, to the SD5/Midjay plus. Not the Audya yet.
You can also load all the Yamaha styles, up to the Tyros 4.
Bachus, my principal keyboard was the Ketron SD1, and all I had to do is to copy the styles from the SD1 to the computer, to be used with vArranger + SD2. So I had exactly the same sound with
my SD1 and with the computer.
The next step for me, is to go 100% software, and I am now working on this. Before releasing anything, I have to be sure that it will be SIMPLE to use, and perfectly STABLE.
I also have some dreams about creating a hardware control surface.
Bachus, what is your musical setup?
