Add this to your PA to get to the back of the room or odd shaped rooms? I came across this on another forum where the guy is really fired up about it. He really got stoked when they said the ultimate test would be where they play in a room that has terrible acoustics and they can't get enough sound to the back without blasting everybody out up front. After the gig, he said it worked great.

The thing that shows the iPod is the transmitter. It has connection jacks. The other thing is the receiver/speaker.

Brookstone wireless speaker

Can't get the link to open. Who's the manufacturer? How many watts? sprcs? This design is not new; I had a stereo set with similar speakers back in 1971. It worked well back then...

Cass, I found the manual on that link (which opened for me) and didn't see that in the specs. It's a home unit, doubt they will list that. It has 5" woofer, 1" tweeter, works up to 150' away. I think it runs on AC or batteries. (8 D cell batteries!) Brookstone is the brand.

There were no specifications pertaining to wattage at the site. Runs on 8 D-cells, or an AC adapter. I suspect it ain't much and not worth the $159 they are priced at.
