Enjoyable performance Col! May I ask what style and guitar sounds you used? With regards to to the Harmony M, I think it would be more effective too use it to highlight certain phrases rather than using it on the whole tune. Thanks for sharing, I hope to hear more from you!

Hi Paul

The style is Abbey Road, Abbey Rock in the Pa2x and Pa3x, the guitar is the standard STS setting in the style a combo of Jazz man ans Vintage S.

You are abosolutely right I depend to much on the Harmony, bad habits are bad to break.

Have you got the Harmony M to function correctly yet?

Regards

Col

Col....nice job on a great BJ song.....well done clap ....
my only concern would be not to sing the entire song in harmony but use it sparingly "when needed" like back up singers would do.

Hi Guys

Try this one, I've just used a tiny bit of doubling on the verse and harmony on the chorus.

Took the advice and just recorded it this minute hot from the press guitar

Unfortunately no, but thank you for taking the time to try to explain. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed with this midi stuff... Maybe we could talk on the phone sometime?

Nice job, I enjoyed both.

I am thinking of using my TCH voiceLive with my KMA but I have my Nord Electro2 on the bottom controlling left hand. This makes an awsome combo.

Since you have to midi the VoiceLive for chord structure to, how can I do it ?

Paul,

Page 20 of the Harmony-M manual explains the setup pretty clearly, but if you still have trouble give me a call and I'll walk you through the process over the telephone in just a couple minutes.

Hi Col, thanks for the songs demonstrating your KMA with Harmony M. smile
The Harmony M voc. harmonies sounds pretty decent.
What digital recorder did you use to record it?
I assume you went out your mixer mains (L/R) into the recorder?

Hi Scott

What the devil time is it over there you should be tucked up in bed not messing about on the forum.

I used a Zoom H2 headphone/Control Room out ... line in into the Zoom. It means you can control the recording level easily. Your new mixer will be perfect. I bought the H2 because of the price and if I ever need to add extra tracks I can record directly into my PC using Audacity.

Speak to you soon.

Hi Donny

Yes I've been using the harmony M before I got hold of the korg iH

The Harmony M is set to recieve on Midi Channel 1 from the factory.

In the midi out setting on both the KMA and the Pa500 you need to change the Channel 1 setting to Chord this is the last setting in the list. This enables the korg to send midi info even when the lower voice is muted which is quite often dependent on style.

The KMA :

Press the Global Button, using page +/- buttons move to page 10
the midi channel out page and change the setting on channel 1 to 'chord' the press the write button and save the global setting. Page 129 in the manual.

I'm not exactly sure about the Pa500 but the Pa2x is the same setting just a different way to access it. (touch screen)

If you need any more help give me a bell on skype I'll stay on line just in case.

Regards

Col
