Good luck good Buddy

Hope you get fixed up for the weekend

Tony

BTW Donny looks like my Audya is on its way out of our house and into some one else's... woot

I just got back from another KMA gig ....3 in three days with it...and it worked admirably .....To be honest they did allow me a 75.00 store credit also & free overnight shipping also.........if I decide to reorder it again or buy something else.....now its just a waiting game for PayPal refund administration delays....meanwhile as always both my Philly boyz Fran & Uncle Dave always have my back with backup keyboards or gear just in case that's what friends do!!
Btw congrats Tony on selling your Audya...so whats next?

Don,

That's interesting, Gene was a great singer, and there were lots more around that time, they were fantastic days, never to return.

Hope Donny get sorted out with a KB, do you think he would have liked the Audya.

Tony I was with don at the jam in Louisiana a few years ago when prince AJ brought the NEW Audya prototype to demo for us...I wanted it then as did Don.....last year Fran & I were at Prince AJ's lab and demoed the new Audya 5......it has so many kool features for live performance....and with some good setting up it could sound amazing for sure...yes there are problems, but if they can correct them the Audya IMO is still an arranger KB to be reckoned with, a bit expensive also.
I loved my Ketron X1, X9, SD1+, Midjay also....but sadly they are gone....some shipped across the pond also. wink

Don & Donny

I went away to Spain last year for a holiday and I met a chap there same age as me, called Mike, got talking and found out he liked music , got lots of 45 rpm in his roof space, all the song and artist I liked. He started talking about his mum, she worked as a cleaner in Halloway Rd, London, well things went on a bit and then I said have you got TELSTAR by the Tornados, OMG his mother was Joe Meeks cleaner, Joe Meeks was homosexual and you know he wrote or was involved in a lot of number ones in those days, his mum took him to Joe’s recording studio a few times in Halloway Rd and she said don’t you go talking to him, the homosexual thing no doubt. Joe made Mike a tape recorder, Joe Meek as you know blow his head off with a shotgun, was a tragic end to a very clever chaps. Wonder how many more gems he would have made had he not killed himself. It's a small World .

Nice little stories for bed time BOOOOW, true.

Telstar! A lot of us grew up on that one, Tony. And talking about mini-keys (which we weren't), that was done on a Clavioline, a sort of bolt-on, one and a half octave, monophonic keyboard. I almost paid 15 quid for one back in c.1959.

Joe Meek was into more than pop records, though. He experimented with all sorts of sounds and effects, all from his 'studio' which was in his mum's house and about the size of your average bathroom. I remember going there once with a few of the lads in my band to drop off some tapes we'd done. You couldn't get in the door for cables and wires everywhere. Good times!

Ruddy hell! I should've spent that 15 quid. I see it had more keys than I remember, too.
