I feel really dumb I can't do this... never had this problem on my other keyboards before but when I try to load a smf or style from my SD card I get the message "load failed press exit". I've tried two different new SD cards (8GB and 2GB)
I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas???

are you trying to load a single style, a performance, or just exactly what?
You can access single files from the SD card. Have you tried doing that?
Page 40 of the Owner's manual talks about SD Card access.

First and formost...format the card on the Korg..

Yes, I did format the card on the Korg. All I'm trying to do is load a SMF. When I do so, I get a message that says "Load Failed" Also when I try to load styles to the user area, I see the name of the style but when I try to select the style I get a message that says "style select failed"

is the style compatible for the pa series pa80/60/50? pa800 styles will not load....etc?....

also do you see the SMF folder on the screen when you push load.....then try to open the folder then select the songs?

Donny, I'm not sure if the styles are compatible. Perhaps you or anyone that has styles that are compatible with a KMA could send me some so I could be sure...

Nigel: Just edited it to "AT" so it wouldn't get harvested as an email address

SMF's will play directly from the SD card..in "song play"

If you want to edit a SMF, select "song" mode and it will load from the SD card...into the sequencer..Don't forget to save as a new name or select the "old" name position on the SD card..

OK problem solved...........on the deck in song mode.....there are the dual SEQUENCER controls.....last button on the right & left is SONG SELECT...

I pushed that and bang the SMF songs were there and loaded & played perfectly on both players... WHEW!!!!! who knew ????
