I just spent 6 hrs creating songs to put into the song book that was easy grin ....all my settings, sts, etc, etc, they reside in the songbook list fine titled etc......

Now I also added them to a CUSTOM song book list so when Im on stage I can call it up and have a list of my songs to play ....fine..... I had about 20 songs for now on the custom list...

I shut the KB off......had dinner turned it back on and the CUSTOM songbook list is EMPTY!!!!!! surprised mad

I had done a SAVE ALL to the SD card before I shut it.. I tried to reload again off the SD card but no luck.....thank god the songs are still in the MAIN songbook list but all MIXED in with the factory songs also Grrrrrr....

ok KORGIES I need help again all I want to do is create a custom song list...and save it so that when I perform I click the custom list and there are MY SONGS to play is that too much to ask!

Thanks in advance

what am I doing wrong I feel like DELETING EVERY FACTORY SONG and just use the MAIN BOOK LIST for all my songs!!

and, If at first you don't succeed . . .

1) Destroy all evidence that you tried.

2) Sky diving definitely isn't for you.

3) Get someone else to do it. It's called using your initiative.

If at first you DO smile succeed, try not to look astonished! eek2 grin

Hi Donny

I've sent you a zip file on Skype containing the Korg Songbook editor for your PC its a lot easier to use than the keyboard.

1. Save your set just with the songbook (SBL file) to the SD card

2. Edit the song book using the editor on your PC and save back to the card. ( You can arrange the songs in any order using the editor using drag and drop etc etc)

3. Load the set back into the Pa500, voila job done. smile

Donny

The secret to doing ANYTHING like that for the first time is to make just 3 or 4 entries. Do what you think is a save and shut everything down. Then power back up and see if it is all there. If it isn't, you haven't wasted a bunch of time and patience.

Regards,

Ted

Col, I would appreciate a copy of the Korg Songbook editor for the PC, it is a much better way to work; got a neck problem.

Thanks, John C.

Donny, "Tirid equals Stupid". Nice to see you enjoying the new keyboard, it's a keeper.
