P.S. It needs phantom power.

Thanks Don, Great price, nice specs, other than no on/off switch. (many good mics don't have an on/off switch confused1 mad)

Speaking of mics...
With my mic, when I use the 3000 VH I need to be much closer to the mic, than Rico, who, shown in the video, is at a more comfortable distance.

Rico, what mic are you using, and what setup are you running it through? BTW...I enjoy your videos, very entertaining.

They have one with a switch... but you'll pay $60 for it!!!

I guess they are over stocked on the non-switch. That's an expensive switch!!

I used it again tonight. For once, at least, they hype was dead on:
"The PL84 handheld condenser mic delivers a high performance blend of a tight yet warm low end, smooth and musical midrange, and crisp yet silky high frequency content. Ideal for vocal styles requiring the finesse and articulation of a condenser, coupled with a forgiving and musical cardioid polar pattern for expressive mic techniques. The PL84 seriously challenges the performance characteristics of competitive condenser models costing twice as much."
Also, no tendency to feed back and no handling noise at all. I love it!

Hi Larry,

That mic you see in the video is one of the worlds famous mics
its a Shure SM58
That mic is not expensive, its wired
There was a deal when you orderd a T4 before 18 Januari 2012
you got a standard and mic with it.
the other Mic i use Is a Beyerdynamic
its wireless en expensive between 400-600 dollars
thats afc new price
But i was a verry lucky man i spotted that beyerdynamic
on Ebay for 100dollar ive stayed up all night till morning to get it lol and i won the auction for 108 dollar
i never forget that

thats the same when u want a good shure mic wireless they are also expensive
But a good mic makes a lot of difference
about the setup i cant say much because i dont do much with it i just use a little reverb on thats it
because i am stil figuring out how all those settings work
but i did something new last week and i am also try to figure that out i bought a Lexicon MX 300 thats a special reverb unit
for vocal i am bussy with sound technician from George Baker how to set that thing up
because he works also with lexicon equipment and knows alot about it

SO ill hope i can sing a new song with that equipment
and see if that would be differend
Heres A link to that box

Regards Rico wave

Thanks for the info guys. I use(d) the Shure sm58, but I think it may be shot, and I need something new. I'm going to order Don's recommendation, the Electro PL84, for the store, and try it out. Rico you have a great studio setup. Looks like a music store smile

Hey DonM, thanks for the link.

For some reason, the PL84s (with switch) by itself cost $99.00 but, if you tell them you want the package deal (mic, cable and stand), the total price is $79.00 not $99.00! + FREE SHIPPING!

Just bought one
