If you don't need onboard efx, the 802 is a great choice. That said,
I recently purchased and recommend the
Behringer Xenyx 1002FXespecialy if you want effects included as well. It's got 10 inputs, including 2 XLR mic inouts,
phantom power, and 100 digital efx.
As Donny Pesce recommends as well (he owns this unit too)

I like efx setting #91 rev/short slap back delay, ch 1 mic FX at 1 o'clock and master at 12 o'clock for a nice vocal efx.

I love this compact 2.3 lb mixer because it easily slips into the side pocket of my keyboard case.
