You know, this is not an arranger gig, so I have decided I'll get the Korg to use while I'm traveling, but get a Nord to leave overseas. That way, I'll be able to put the Nord or the Korg over the piano for some variety, and have the Korg on the long trips over and back to work on film scores, etc.

This will give me full size keys if the piano is dead, a killer organ and piano sound and let me use the arranger feature on the little Korg if it was ever needed.

Years ago Boo sold me a replacement for my beloved Korg i5s, and it's my forever backup. I LOVE this thing and if anything goes down - I can do a job on this one piece with no regrets ... as long as I have my trusty VR harmonizer to backup as well. It's scary how something so insignificant to the retail world can mean so much to me ... hell - look at how Fran loves his tired, old Roland relics ... same deal.
