Hello
I was thinking it would not be possible to create or convert an acoustic piano sound (in the 64 mb) for Audya?
I personally am not at all satisfied with the piano not to mention the acoustic grand piano supersolo that takes 40 seconds to load but then the end is not that much ..)
Any experienced programmer would be able to take the best specimen of the piano (in the 64 mb) and then convert it to Audya ins format and send it to us (we retrieve the sample from any library akai etc ...)?
Honestly though I would then need to figure out how to load it ..
I know I have no skills so I can be of help but maybe someone more experienced.
It can be done?
Thanks for the info
Sorry for my bad english.

Are you joking??? this is one of the finest vintage Grand Piano's I have ever heard! Use it for classical Piano work (not as a pop piano) and you will need to Adjust the EQ of your amplification.

does not seem to me who knows what ... Then you have to raise the volume to hear a lot in an acceptable way ... you have changed some parameters of Audya? I can fix directly from the equalization Audya and save the new sound (as it does not always use the mixer)? Explain to me how? However I would need a good piano to use both the classical and the pop? The idea of samples is a thing possible? Waiting for news. Thank you!

I have to agree with GoKuss4, I'm really not a big fan of the Default Grand Piano on the Audya.

In addition, when you add a second voice with it, the default is a pad. Should be STRINGS!

I took the Vintage Grand under programs and did some editing and tweaking and came up with a really nice sound, plus strings are the second voice default.

If anyone has heard the Piano on the Korg Kronos.........maybe you'll agree, That is an AWESOME PIANO!

Nitelife: you can edit the 2. voice if you like it, and store into new program or store into defaul slot (but overwrite original without recover)

about sample piano: korg ? depend what you like, I have korg pa2x too and I have sampled the ketron sd1 piano because I don't like korg piano. but korg has very fantastic sampler

in audya you can forgo to sampler a good piano, you can have what you want all the best piano samples you like but
if you don't have software and hardware (only ketron italy, ketron aj and some more have I suppose) you cannot create .ins file then:
- you can only create msp file
- you can have stero sample (you can have it only create Left and righ msp separate then use 2 of 3 voice program slot, is not best way
- you can not create multy layer sound (the same can create in program using 2 slot with 2 different layer but is not good way, and then are mono sounds)
- only about that you can't create stero file you must understand that all you try will be very bad result.
- audya don't have hardware and software like korg, that use oscillator then want big good piano ? need more more ram, in korg I have sampled the ketron piano in 8mb an play better then original (usin multy layer with same samples)
forgot mps audya

I really hope new software has news about it

Hi guys,

"in my ears" the Audyas Piano isn´t very good too.

But regarding Akai or whatever : Remember the COPYRIGHT of the owners ( of the sample library as well as of the manufacturer ) !

At least here in Germany this is definitely forbidden by law.

That´s one of the reasons, why e.g. ROLAND with their "V-Accordions" must not ( and so does not ) sample "HOHNER" Accordions. I would like to have that sounds in my FR-3x wink
( They bought "Dallapee" to be able to legally make and use the appropriate samples ! )

It's great we all want bigger and better sounds and more of them on our Audyas

But BEFORE we can take advantage of this in the real world
We need to 'fix' Audyas RAM limitations

Lets start with 2GB of RAM please. wink
64MB will only allow you 1-2 'toy pianos'

The acoustic grand piano supersolo is one of the best things I've ever heard.

gokuss4 and AJ: please share the results we you can - we would all be highly appreciative.

If AJ bothers to convert the sample we can be sure it is a high quality one.

I still maintain it is better to make high quality programs than use massive raw samples.

i see, 180mb for 1 sound that most of us won't be able to load into our Audya's

this is what i mean, we don't need a 128mb chip or a 256mb chip

we need a 2gb chip at the very MINIMUM

or am i the only one who wants to load more than 2-3 sounds at a time?

I would rather have smaller samples with good quality programs, (exactly Like Socrates did with his excellent vintage Synth samples). That means faster load time and less space.

leezone: ok I want 2gb too but....
what you do if you cannot create good program ?
1 layer, no stereo wavs ecc...
I maked fantastic sound for pa2x pro with low ram, but can mix internal sound, layer oscillator ecc.
Actually the ram is enought only for load original ins ketron and AJ instruments. there are something more ? where ?
Maybe you have done good sounds for audya only using MSP ?
maybe ketron has modivy msp editor in 5.0a ? who have try it ? for example if load wav stereo ?

maybe AJamsonic can sell as INS soundboard and software ?ahahah

else I think 128 is good

128mb RAM is average actually,
128mb RAM is great and absolutely amazing, like 12 years ago

we are about to start the year 2013
it's time to catch up Ketron

128mb is good if all you want to do is
load and play 1 good supersolo sound at a time

BUT not the new piano AJ is converting for gokuss4
that one is 180mb, sorry wink

pastroccio, you still think 128mb is good?

My friend Pastroccio..

1) In Audya we have up 3 layers in a program...
One layer we have only in a MSP, however you can to have 3 MSP,s in any program..

2) I have also Korg Pa3x and I had all previous models of Pa series, and Triton Classic, Triton Studio ..
Therefore nor in Korg like Pa Series you can to have a Stereo KMP file, but when you want to create a stereo KMP, (onboard) should to load your Stereo Wav, or AIFF file, and automaticaly when we saved, it will be converted to two Mono files L-R KSF (samples) files..
Therefore should to create two KMP files: KMP_Left, KMP_Right, and when we ready will be put the two files in a Sound, KMP_Left (L63) KMP_Right (R63 from AMP section....
With the same way we can create a stereo MSP (L-R) and to put in a Program of Audya...
Of course in a Korg Pa2xpro, Pa800, and Pa3x we have up to 24 layers...
Also in a korg we have a more choice to create a sound in a software Sampler (like Kontakt) and with a converter like Extreme Sample Converter to convert in Soundfont_2, and with Awave to create KMP,s...
However Believe me.... Although the synthesis engine of Audya is very poor in functions, we can with even one or two layers to we have a exellent sound, because the sound engine, behave with too much smooth way....
I managed to created with very easy way in Audya 17 Vintage Synth Sounds (and Stereo file also) without tiring...
This is my demo of sounds http://www.divshare.com/download/19179688-7ac

thank's sokratis I know how work korg (and I love it), ok 3 layers in program, but about velocity ?
How you make your fantastic elettro acustic guitar if only 1 velocity of layer ? this I don't understand
how can load some piano if you cannot make different sample for velocity (2-3 would be good) ?
that's my problem!

leezone.. about ram ok, I can understand you. of course I would be happy to have 2 gb !!!
only at moment I not have so much sounds to tell "need 2gb ram"...128 or 256 good for AJ that I will have... that's all
why ? because I don't like to make sound in auyda. (in past all my time was for korg sounds)

about this new 180mg piano msp ? no.. I think ins
and about 2gb ram is only joke, dream or AJ really working on it ?

Yes...
My Electroacoustic Guitar is 3 different (mono) layer...
After a few days I will send for all members...
For the Piano realy is big problem for Audya becouse we need 4 layers to have a good sound of Piano..(Soft layer L-R, Hard layer... It can only with INS files (only from Ketron) that it file can play Stereo files....
I have a create a very good Grand Piano (40mb Compress) in my Pa3x... Listen...

http://www.divshare.com/download/18483068-b64

From 0.00 up to 2,17 I play my Piano..
From 2,17 up to finish play the Pa3x piano..
