Here are two shots that show the shape and size of the rig. I have been spoiled by having my mic boom attached to my X stand for a long time - I'll have to adjust.
Apex users will not be able to use this setup without the extended arms, and even then - it may sit too far forward for stability.
Jury's out on the looks - but the sound is a slam dunk.

This new stand is a "Strukture Aluminum" double X - VERY lightweight, but super solid.
Off to the left, above the joystick is a small remote for my Micro Galaxian light. It sits on a sticky pad designed to hold a phone on a car dashboard. I sometimes sit my iPhone on this, but as Fran stated - I mostly use the internal MP3s, CDGs and SMFs from the Korg, itself.

UD

I wouldn't be happy with such a little support under that KB, if it falls on the floor it will be going back to Korg.

Dave, that sure is a neat looking rig, and it's a given it sounds killer. The only thing I'm not wild about is that the PA-AS seems to form a bit of a visual barrier between you and the audience. That said, it's probably no worse than the usual keyboard-top clutter, binders, laptops, etc. Thinking 'bout posting any toons from the new rig on here any time soon?

The speakers look like the same concept as the Generalmusic Genesys, take a look at that and you will see,I haven't heard them but for the money they better sound good.

Grrrrr ..... Lost 2 posts already because I forgot to hit the submit button!
Hers my answers:
1-the speakers face exactly as they should - they are monitors, not mains. They also put out a decent SPL, so there is enough spillover for a small room. Most people in the room do not sit right in front of the speaker anyway.
As for the stand - its solid, and the entire kb is supported by the top tiers.
2- the center section has the woofer, and it faces downward, so that clear music stand (that I never use on the job) does not block any sound.
3- it's awesome, and it does what its designed to do. In fact, unless you play loud, this is going to prove to be more of a messes site than n option.
