Tony

I think it is quite evident that you dislike the Audya. Hey, we all have our likes and dislikes. Although I like the Audya for what I bought it for, which is dances. I like other keyboards also.

The Tyros4 is a magnificant keyboard as shown on Scotts video. I almost bought one, and still might, if my KN7000 goes down.
However, it will probably outlast me.

Stay well my friend.
Bernie

Sorry Tony,
My previous post was not regarding your post. I hit the wrong reply button. I must have been making this mistake for years. Like I've said before, I'm not Hi-Tech, I'm more old school friend.

Steve's vocal 'style' sounds similar to the KB friend that you performed with on your In the Park Concert Cd you sent me way back. Still enjoy that. smile
Boo, thanks for the Cd offer but I already have access to all of Tyrell's CDs (including the cuts you mentioned) on my online streaming Spotify and Rhapsody services. You're right: those are nicer licks and changes. I usually play the changes in the Real Book or Chuck Sher's New Real Book and then like to add or substutute my own (pre-dominant chords, chromatic approach, or tri-tone subs, etc). Do you by any chance have charts with Tyrell's changes? Would be great if you could share them via email.

Great. I still remember all the fun I had sitting in with him at Mission Ranch in Carmel
5+ years ago. In fact I kinda of recall singing Witchcraft that night.
Sonny's not only a fine keyboard player but has a real nice personality as well.
Only person missing that evening was Clint didn't show up that evening. grin
btw: Does Sonny still live and perform in the Monterey Bay Area?

Scott smile

Bernie,

I thought the Audya was fantastic, I just worried about turning it on - would it work or worse still would something not work, IMO the T4 styles blow the Audya away, Bernie you need to own a T4 to appreciate how good it is, and for me who is a crap player, it almost plays itself, one finger will do.

Cheers Bernie you don't need feel guilty about owning an Audya, someone needs to own one or there wouldn't be any, does that make any sense.

You take care Bernie are you still gigging hope you are not trying to keep up with Gary, no one holds that record.

Scott quite a while back I messed up my contacts list and I'm still missing some of my old buddies. Send me your email eh?

I did figure out the first turn around which is real neat to me. Not rocket science but the progression of the changes is really neat and shows experience in the group.

Also what I refer to as an interlude (which is probably the wrong terminology), at the end of the first chorus for just 4 bars I think is great. Your comment about "I Can't Get Started" made me figure it out last night. I'd like you to check the changes out and let me know if I'm right.

It would be better to send me your street address and I'll print out my lyrics sheet with the chords typed over the syllables where the chord changes for you to make sense of it. Every time I try to email something like this I find it very difficult to do.
