I have looked at you username a few times and I always have a feeling to type it "AreYouSure" I think it is easy to get it wrong, what was behind picking that name in the first place, did you type it in in error when you signed up, I have never been afraid of hiding behind a user name therefore you got my real name, I could have used Mickey Mouse, it is certainly easier to remember than yours, I mean Mickey Mouse...now what where you saying about your Yamaha, if you had one that went wrong it would be a surprise, I know someone who works for Yamaha and their failure rate is near zero.. Tony Hughes Esq BTW I have been called all manner of names by people I have worked for and frankly I don't give a damm as long has they pay up when I'm done. You could ask Nigel if he could change your name to a more roll of the tounge one, we could start a thread...NEW NAMES FOR MEMBERS but beware it might start a war, when I call Billy Wersi, Billy Wersi I think he likes it, he's on at 1900hrs our time so he will no doubt tell me one way or the other. Now Donny what shall we call you...heeeeeeeeee

Ian,
Are you always a condescending ass or do you just feel the need to change my moniker to your liking because I said my Yamaha product had serious issues? I have no problem spelling your name correctly so you shouldn't have a problem spelling mine correctly either.
My apologies for spelling your name wrong...I didn't notice it until the editing time was up, so I couldn't change it. My browser's spellchecker doesn't recognize such a queer moniker so it slipped by quite easily. However, calling me very disrespectful names (totally against forum policies, as far as I know) in retaliation, won't correct misspelling, but certainly indicates a lot of latent hostility and vilification on your part. I didn't misspell your strange user name deliberately, but your name calling was clearly intentional. I do not take any interest in what you say about Yamaha products... it is just your opinion, and you are well known for unnecessarily bashing the product (or the company) in the past. Therefore, to try and minimize any unessential friction on SZ, I've taken to ignoring all your statements regarding Yamaha. In your own best interest, and with a nod towards Nigel's forum policies, I respectfully suggest that you stop the name calling, and try some politeness for a change. Ian

I've never been unpolite and me calling a spade a spade because you can't seem to refrain from throwing a jab in for no apparent reason hardly constitues me being unpoite. I think you need to stop the back peddling, man up, and start heeding your own advice. Your "mispelling", as Tony also does often, is deliberate and intended to incite. I did get a laugh out of your ridiculous excuse though. You're like a three year old who throws a rock then denies doing it when confronted.
My opinions of Yamaha arent bashing, I owned a TOTL Yamaha arranger, it had hardware and software issues that Yamaha was well aware of, and their way of alleviating the problem was to discontinue the product. At least my opinions of products are based on actual use.
I've owned many Yamaha products i.e. pro audio, synthesizers, arrangers, home audio, computer speakers, etc., and I don't bash them as you state. You're only reason for chiming in was because I said my Yamaha product had issues. Unlike you I'm not on Yamaha's payroll, I do care if the product has an issue, and if that issue isn't resolved I can dump the product and let others know about those problems. If you're beloved Yamaha product had problems and you voiced your opinion in forums stating so, you'd most likely be out of a job.

Yes, Tony, most of us here have no problem using our real names, at the very least, our real first name. It's also nice to see the person's photo being used as their avatar as it makes us feel we know them just a little bit better. It probably shouldn't be this way, but, we tend to find these people easier to trust and they are usually up front with everything. I suppose some people have a need to remain anonymous, and perhaps it is necessary for them to use queer user names that are difficult to spell, and even harder to interpret, especially when these names have nothing whatsoever to do with music. Oh well, it takes all kinds. Ian PS...I have a mouse here named Mickey...soon to be unceremoniously evicted.

Ian... Parapraxis would be a fun user name actually. Ha ha...with the way spellcheckers work, it's easy to let some user names slip by with wrong spelling...sometimes using one wrong letter, or leaving one out, will end up with a word with a sometimes comical, and completely different meaning, Tonewheeldud. See what I mean? Now, in your case, we know the new meaning isn't true, but sometimes, as in one of the more recent parapraxis, we can see it is very appropriate.
