Doing a little fishing; anyone interested?

Brand new, hardly touched Korg Micro Arranger with gig bag, $475
Mint condition Hammond XK-1 with black ATA custom case, $1225

I'm thinking of replacing the XK1 with the newer SK1 and maybe switching out the Micro and a Yammy s910 for a PA500...

Hi Cass,
I too have considered buying the PA500. I absolutely love my little Korg KMA but it sure is difficult to work with and get things setup for gigs. I don't think I would sell the KMA though because it is so easy transport. I find myself messing with it on a daily basis - often with it on my lap while watching TV. My Tyros 4 has not left the house in 2 months - I have been using the little KMA on gigs and my audiences just love it.

If you get the PA500 let us know how it works for you.

Cass, Have you played the SK1?

I played one at SamAsh Music, and was disappointed...Maybe someone messed around with some parameters, but the Leslie slow /fast control...I had to re trigger the chords to make it change...(Useless)..

Another suggestion...try the BK5 before you buy the Korg....It offers more...and better pianos etc)...You can also record all, including input data as a wav file...
I am not saying the Korg is not a better alternative to the PSR910 (I am still waiting for DNJ to show me his PA500)

Personally for me, I had the PA800 and it is gone..I still have the BK5 smile

Of course , you could take Tony's suggestion..The MS will give you the best organ and piano available on any keyboard smile
And the best media player you are going to find...Now if that is what you need...it could solve your desires...in one compact 56 pound package.. grin

Fran,

56 pounds, Cass will need a truss, a MS is not that heavy is it, you could weigh it in for scrap, one hell of a door stop, the next USA Hurricane shall be called, Lionstracs, never blow the doors in. taz
