I listened to all the Premium style demos, most could be categorized as good to excellent, however, I did note that the drums seemed subdued. Then, after looking at the position of the keyboard's sliders, I believe that would account for the subdued drum sounds. Cheers, Gary

Unless the player actually moved the sliders after calling up the registration, shouldn't the slider's physical position have no effect on the balance of the style?
Given how subdued the drums tend to be in MOST Yamaha styles, I would tend to think that you ARE hearing the default mix! I'm not sure, Diki. I believe the sliders on the T4 can be set to a multitude of functions, but I haven't been able to find the information in the manual. I'm working blind on this one, and I could be wrong. If anyone out there owns a T4 I would hope they could shed some light on this. Thanks, Gary

Hi Gary, Diki is right on that one. The position of the sliders have no effect if you call up a new style or registration. Only then, if you move the sliders, will changes take effect. Eric
