Leaving the office for a dinner with Annie...our 47th anniversary.

She says it's the music business. If I'd been home every evening, she'd have kicked my ass out 45 years ago.

Even so, I'd get a food taster.....you know, just to be on the safe side. I won't eat anything my wife makes without testing it on the dog first. So far, I've had to take him to the Vet three times this year. Coincidence? You decide.

If your wife has to cook your 47th anniversary dinner, you might not get a 48th!

It is always nice to hear about long Marriages. It says a lot about you and the Mrs.

Congratulations Russ. If you take her out to a fine restaurant for dinner, be sure that you're sitting there when the food arrives - just to be on the safe side.

A half-century of nuptial bliss for me next month. Just goes to show that for some unexplained reason, some good looking women seem to be attracted to crazies. wink

Cheers,

Gary cool

Have a great anniversary Russ!
I've been married 42 years.
7 plus 3 plus 32. I'm finished marrying 18-year-old girls. Third time was a CHARM.

Tony,

Rent a car, drive over to Marathon Key, Florida, look for an old fart wearing shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and playing his trusty, old PSR-3000 in a Tiki Bar. I'm buying the Margarettas! And, I can take you and Lydia sailing.

Congratulations,

Gary cool

Congrats, Russ:

My better half has put up with me for 52 years and at least for now, I'm relatively safe. My insurance policy won't get her very far... LOL and for now, she's the one with the money.

Congrats to the rest of you brave souls with the guts and tenacity to be able to make a marriage work in these troubling Kardashian-like times as depicted on the dumb-tube so often.

My wife said she wanted to go someplace she hadn't been to in a while for our anniversary. I said "How about the kitchen?"

Congratulations Russ, I've just come back from Chicago where my

wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary.

All these long marriages, it seems there are a lot of real

decent and old people who play arranger keyboards.

Belated Congrats Russ. 47 years with the same person is something to be proud of. I know she deserves a metal. laugh

For me Aug 10 1968 was a long time ago, but I remember it like yesterday. 44 years later, she's still my best friend.
