Maybe your best choice is Voicelive Play.If you don't want to make custom scales for harmonies than you don't need VL2.VL2 is the best harmony processor,but you will probably not use 80% of things inside.Plus, Voicelive Play has better presets than vl2 and it's much cheaper.

MIKIMIKI, I checked out Voicelive Play, thanks for the suggestion, looks like a lot of 'bang for the buck'. Would this work in conjunction whith a keyboard, where chords could trigger the harmony?

I think it has no midi ins or outs.But there is aux in.Which keyboard you use??
There is always voicelive touch.You should also check some of Digitech units.
I just picked up older model Digitech Vocalist Workstation EX.
For me it's easiest to use.I need some custom scales and with this I can make them.

Like I said,VL2 is the best processor.I used to have it for two years.It sounds great.Harmonies are good, efx are great.I only wish it was made something like Vocalist worstation with all the keys.It's very easy too use..

Current arranger is a PSR-3000...Thinking of a PA600 or a PSR-750

Larry the Harmony M has midi in and has either a mono, or stereo out as well as the mic in and phantom power.

As for the keyboard - I think you may be happier with the PA600 - the sound (apart from SA) and operational features make it the standout of those two..

I'd suggest the newer TC Helicon VoiceLive Play. Very easy to setup. You don't even need to connect it to the keyboard thru midi. You can set it up to "listen" to the music coming from your keyboard, amp, guitar, voice or any music source and it'll figure the key and provide the appropriate harmonies. It has tons of presets and other features too like looping. I'm using the VoiceLive Play GTX (with guitar effects) with my KMA or guitar and very happy with it.

Harmony M is great. Simple and easy to use. Even makes MY voice sound good!

I consider myself something of an authority on Harmonizers (listen to Don and Donny's comments on my recordings) LOL

I'n the past I used the harmonizer on the Pa2x which worked well but sometimes was a bit robotic OK in a mix.

At the moment I own a Korg iH, a Digitech Workstation EX, a TC Helicon Quintet (The Workstation's little brother) and I,m awaiting the delivery of a TC helicon Workstation.

The Korg iH is based on the Digitech VH but has no effects great if you are using a mixer with FX.

The Digitech is good VH easy to use very natural harmony voices the on problem when using live the bypass button does not cut out the effects when addressing the audience.

The Quintet once again is a very good VH good mic preamp good harmony's and the bypass button cuts off the harmony and the effects great for live use.

The Digitech and the Quintet both have a good selection of effects.

As you can see from the Photo's I like to have the VH at the front of the keyboard for easy access.

If you play at home the digitech is fine but for live use I prefer the Quintet

The woiceworks operates in a similar fashion to the Quintet but has more features ie dedicated lead voice doubling, pitch correction and extra effects also it has songbook ideal for live use.

I bought all my harmonizers on eBay so if I don't like them I can dispose without losing to much money. If the Voiceworks performs the way i expect I will be having a sale.
