Do what we do, Donny. Carry one of those 10'x10' pop-up canopies. It'll only cost you about $75 or less, comes in a carry case not much bigger than half a Bose column, and goes up in less than two minutes.

Good idea .....but in my contracts I make sure the client provides that kind of protection.

I just won't do outside anymore - I hate it in so many ways ... sun/shade/hot/cool ... none of it works for me.
I don't sweat well - the extra dust and other natural hazards all seem to collect on MY gear. I hate to turn down the work, but the last few parties I did outside all proved to be too much "work" ... and that's no fun!
