Thanks Chas, but I am not into politics at all...I don't think I ever had a politician friend...I make judgements by what I see and hear...first hand (Why I prefer Roland over Yamaha).. grin

Instead of basing these political matters on predictions, let us wait a couple years and base the truth on history....

BTW: Don't forget...you are still buying lunch....someday.... smile

It would be my honor Fran, and that day may come sooner than you think. Despite my ribbing and sometimes pulling your chain, I always considered you a gentleman and able to rise above some of the pettiness and vindictiveness that seems to infect some of your cohorts. You may show a spot of temper once in awhile (usually when having to defend Roland smile smile ), but it's never that deep-seated, hate-tinged kind exhibited by some others. Let's face it, you're just a grumpy old teddy bear smile (who'd rather be gigging at the Playboy Mansion).

I'll meet you at Bennie's (soon). Try to keep him alive that long (he's GOT to be well into his 80's by now).

Donny, would you say that the after effects of Hurricane Sandy, the unfortunate (and unforeseen) tragedy that caused your daughter(and her family)so much grief, trauma, and financial misery, is also the reason your new KORG PA-600 is delayed?

Ian

PS...Regarding another thread, I regret not being able to send you some money to help you both out, but I am in my own serious financial whirlpool right now, and it just isn't possible. Just know, that if there was any way I could add to her relief fund, I would.

Ian .....I ordered a pa600 as soon as it was announced months ago..I see they have them in peoples hands in Europe as some SZ'ers can attest to in some of the posts,....it's really out of my hands as to when it will be here in the USA for consumption from my sources. I am in no rush as the PA500 is performing for my needs very very well on stage, I'm hoping at least by years end to have one here to use.....otherwise I'll have to make other choices like a pa3x which although I can get one tomorrow it's but it's just too much Kb for my needs right now. I am very happy with the KORG Sound & OS flexability so far..
My daughter is slowly getting started all over again, all the donations and outpouring from the website & private donations thru paypal, SZ members, and elsewhere have truly helped big time so she can get another place to live with her family after the devastation to her home along the jersey Shore..every little bit helps ...thank you for your concern.
