After saving lyrics in PDF the lyrics are too big for the page. If I reduce the size they become too small.

Will my Ipad with the Unreal Music App adjust so that it fits in the page?

Eeeek, this is not my area, John C.

I rarely have to do that, but yes, take your fingers and opposing thumb and pinch.

I have scanned hundreds of Wikiphonia lead sheets without having to touch them in UnrealBooks.

I'm wondering why you are scanning pdf lead sheets from Wikifonia? They download in pdf format.

Hiya Scott

My bad.

I scan some of my paper copies, but not Wikifonia. You are right. Either way, I am wondering why John is having sizing problems.

I use PiaScore for iPad which is free. It also has the ability to display 2 pages on screen in landscape mode.

Bernie,
I have my music in Microsoft word and Encore for the songs written script. (notes-dots) The size of the music varies depending on the length of the songs.

Since I am not copying from Wikifonia, I just wonder if that will make a difference.

I tried that "piaScore" after reading about it here and I found the coolest little thing - if you install it ... try this:
1. call up a file
2. tap the center of the screen to access the top menus
3. tap the video icon on the right side (next to metronome)

Voila!!! A small window pop up with a you tube video of THAT SONG! there are multiple videos available sometimes, too. It a great way to refresh your mind on a style before working on a lead sheet.
No prep work needs to be done - just call up a song sheet with a title. THAT title will pop up instantly. Very cool, indeed!

I find Wikifonia to be quite consistent and will add a page rather than reduce size. I find this favorable with my old eyes, as it is so easy to turn page.

None of the others work in landscape with two pages ok it's a little small. But saves carrying stacks of books and folders to gigs.

I actually find it annoying that I can't adjust Wiki to print on one page, especially when page two only has one line of music ... different strokes ... smile ... I WILL do some manual 'cut and paste' if I need to ...

If you save the lead sheet as the xml file and download the MuseScore program that is used to write the music you can edit the song such as correct wrong chords, change it so it will fit on one page etc. and save as a pdf in any key.
