Well, the case is 100 dollars and although it doesn't have hinges it is ATA and moisture resistant, you have to have some kind of trade off, I guess hinges would add weight.

This is the company that makes/sells the Tuffbox. They only sell to the 48 states. But mainly the owner said they were not as sturdy.

Donny,
That Ultimate Support case is a great fit for my s950, but the Korg will flop around in it.

Might not be padded as much as some, but it's a pretty close fit.

I just sold my Kaces KB13 bag I used for my Orla as it was too small for my pa500. That might do for you; you're 2 days too late for mine though..would have given it to you...I really like their bags. I've had 2 of them and never got a tear or broken zipper. 38.75 x 16.5 x 6.5

I still feel, once you get up into the $3000+ keyboard arranger range, especially as, if damaged they may not be so quick to find a new one to replace, a hard case of some sort is still a good bet, despite the slight weight increase. With many of them having wheels at one end, you still end up rarely ever toting them.

But assuming that your so far accident free life will continue that way is quite a gamble when you consider the inconvenience and possible disruption to your usual gig setup.

The more sliders and knobs, the more that dropping something on top of it can do permanent damage goes up. And don't even get me STARTED about how impossible it is to work an arranger like the PA3X if the touch screen gets cracked!

Better safe than sorry, I have always said.
