I just said goodbye to a young dear friend..Stacy Lee Byrne was killed in an auto accident early Saturday evening..She and her husband were going to a wedding...stopped at a traffic light, a high speeding car crashed into her from behind..they estimated the woman driving the speeding car was driving likely 80 mph when she impacted Stacy's car..The forcr drove her car across the highway, sideswiping a pole and hitting another building...The other woman's car, was airborne and traveled 300 feet from impact...Both driver's were killed..

Stacy, was a beautiful 32 year old mother of two children, ages 5 and 8..

I have lost many friends in the last several years, but most were older, and most were expected..

This is so much harder...To me it is like losing a family member...almost like a daughter..

I keep asking myself why?...If only a few seconds difference..she would not be at the red light....if the other woman was not speeding..Stacy's family is devistated...keep them in your prayers..please..

My sincere condolences, Fran...that is a real tragedy.

Life can be so unfair.

Very Sad...my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Farewell to Thee! But not farewell
To all my fondest thoughts of Thee;
Within my heart they still shall dwell
And they shall cheer and comfort me.

Was she from the Radcliff? Either way ... such a loss. That's very sad.

Fran,
There are no words to help others with the loss of a loved one. Those in our lives who are taken away from us to soon will never be forgotten - they stay with us forever - in our thoughts - in our dreams. We simply get-a-long without them the best we know how. There is also never an answer to the question "WHY?"
I wish you and your friend's family well and will keep you in my prayers.

Deane

Sorry for your loss, Fran. Maybe you can take small pleasure from the realization that you and probably, to a lesser degree, Dave and Donny were "bright spots" in her life, also.

My little piece of sunshine is "Peaches", a cashier at a Shell station. I go out of the way 5 miles to get coffee there and take a little lip about being late...old...bald...whatever.

I look forward to it every day.

Be well,

Russ

Praying for consolation for you, Fran, and her family. What a tragedy, those kids now will not have this wonderful mother in their earthly life, and our mothers are so important to us.

How very sad. You're right, Fran, you can't help but wonder "why... such a tragedy".
