New function in STYLE MODE??? (OS 5.0)
First you press MODE - then press User 4/9 twice (CHORD 2/2)
there is a new possibility called "GUITAR MODE" (F2)
and you can select OFF - MODE1 - MODE2.
I don't understand what it is good for - anyone????

I read it about in ajamsonic manual but don't understand too.. only change is when press sustain in pianist mode you can see rotor led on/off fast but no sound change

I am AMAZED that TWD or AJ do not answer. I am convinced that they know it.

We cannot help the fact that Ketron does not supply a new operating manual with every OS upgrade, or even just updated versions of the older ones.

This might seem like a simple question, but it just might prove to be very important for the person who asked it.

Please guys, won't one of you be so kind as to answer so that we all can learn.

ketron has told that os5.0 is the same of os4.2c plus some protecion introduced for uk pendrive. as I remember os4.2c was done many month ago (only for beta tester) and the guitar mode was on it many month ago. you can see it in the first decribe of amsonic 1 year ago (then was ketron news, not aj) ahah.
probably when the prepare out the 5.0 forget about it and think that this os has only bugfix and nothing new, then they forgot to mention the guitar mode and then create new pdf manual
that is only what I'm thinking maybe is different.

I have emailed AJ seven times about my upgrade and got one answer two weeks ago that he would get back to me, and nothing.

I had to ask the factory about this myself.

Guitar Mode is a feature designed specifically for Midi guitarists. They can play a chord and then press the sustain pedal which 'holds the chord' whilst the guitarists plays other stuff on the fret board, when he releases the sustain pedal he can then play another chord - its kind of like a MIDI hold/off function.

Mode 1 and Mode 2 are like a polarity switch for the sustain pedal which reverses the operation.

thanks, good to know but as describe in AJ manual is different:

• New GUITAR MODE [Premium, and Deluxe Packages] – Use your Left hand/chords or Right hand (when Pianist/Bassist is activated) to manually strum AUDIO GUITAR parts. Simply play a chord by pressing HARD and then while holding the chord down, use any finger on the left (or right in Bassist Mode) to ‘strum’ AUDIO GUITAR live.
