I bought a porchboard (www.porchboard.com) for use in guitar/vocal shows. Users recommend a sub to get decent oomph out of it. Ugh, haul around more gear! A long-time user told me do NOT go into a PA, including my Fishman Soloamp, cuz it would "blow it out." He said to buy a used sub.

I have Logitech z-2200 (and also z-5500). I asked about that, but he didn't respond. I said I also have Bose L1 Classic system, including a sub. He said "yeah, an L1 with two subs should work fine." I don't have two subs, I have one.

Anyway, I am wondering will the Logitech work? Would the sub work indepently (just the sub)? Would the Bose work, and, if so, would it work independently or would I have to use the entire Bose L1 Classic system (tower and sub)? Probably dumb questions, lol.
