I put my speakers on the bottom shelf and the keyboard hard case on the top shelf and all my other stuff goes on top of that. One trip and I'm done.

But, how are you manageing one trip with a soft gig bag and can't really put anything on top of it?

Apex pro & speaker stands on top..never a problem.

My case has a plywood shell, doesn't weight more than 10 pounds, and the keyboard is fully protected unless you decide to stand on the case. On top of the keyboard case is the X-stand (just over 20 pounds), fan (3-pounds) and Bose extension tubes (4-pounds) - no problems! The bottom shelf holds the Bose L1 Compact, custom console, accessory bag, and there's room left over for anything else. My folding seat (26-pounds) hangs on one of the R-10 handles and anchors the X-stand in place so nothing on top can shift around if I have to go up or down a handicap ramp.

Don very impressive where can I get one maybe I'll get more gigs with the model you use.

Wow, you guys carry too much for me. I walk-in carrying S950 in gig bag (right hand) and small duffle bag with pedal, power cord, and small Bose computer speakers (left hand). That's it. The stool and keyboard stand stay folded-up in storage at the supper club where I work. Where do you put the dolly while working? That would be an issue in my situation, because of very tight quarters.

Sorry I have already sold that model and got one that is controlled by my Android tablet. It unloads itself and plays the first set automatically.
I'm waiting for an app that drives the truck as well. Yamaha app only controls motorcycles but update is scheduled for release by 3 pm. New cart is on ebay already so I'll be ready to change if needed.

I guess it depends on what arranger you are using... If you've got one covered in sliders and knobs, probably putting anything but your lightest gear on top isn't a good idea. Again, depending on how well padded the lid is.

Some gags have little but a thin sheet of soft foam and the corduroy... Some have high density foam, hard plastic and the corduroy/nylon.

Your mileage may vary radically...
