Is there a way HDMI?..or whatever?..for you to watch dvd movies etc,, on your flat screen TV from your PC just like yu do with the monitor? Are there special wires you need or apparatus?
Also if there is some wire needed....can you get some type of A/B Switch type box so that you can change from Pc monitor to Flat screen TV?
Many modern PC's have an HDMI video output (or can use an inexpensive adapter, as in the case of my iMac) to go to HDMI, the standard cabling used for HiDef TV's.

I have HDMi ports on back of my new LG 50" flat screen TV ..
here is a picture of the back of my PC computer its about 5 years old....I dont see a HDMI port?.... or do I need to buy a VIDEO card of some sort also???
Google for a VGA to HDMI converter. They range from cheap to expensive. TBH, I'd consult a geek about it. You are not just going to need one of those, but a switcher of some sort (unless built into the converter) unless you fancy getting back there and changing cables all the time!
How far away is your TV? Don't forget to factor in the cost of an HDMI cable that goes that far...
