Bit confused about that workflow...

If stored on the floppy disk, it was a MIDI file. Was the MIDI file played back into the E60, and then recorded, or did Logic Pro use some sort of GM soundset to render the file?

Must confess, it doesn't quite sound like an E60, but I could be mistaken.

Regarding external floppy drive--I bought one off Ebay, made in China, for about $15. a couple years ago. Works fine.
Doesn't even have a brand name on it, just USB Portable Diskette Drive.
